Position Summary

Account Executive is responsible to manage all aspects of assigned provider network in key components including but are not limited to:

Meeting Quality Star Metrics
Increasing Provider Risk Adjustment Score
Meeting Annual Health Assessment Thresholds
Increase of Membership
Retention of current Membership

Essential Responsibilities

All field staff are responsible for arranging conference calls and meetings for members of Executive team in an effort to further develop business where Executive involvement would be beneficial, necessary, or applicable.


In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:


  • Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures currently or to be implemented in the future.

  • Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.

Physical Activities:  This position will be working in an office environment, utilizing typical office equipment. Also works in all areas of designated territory traveling from office to office via personal vehicle. Some travel required.

Qualifications

  • Account Executives are required to service the assigned accounts associated with HEDIS, Membership, RAF to ensure Company Quality goals are met. Membership and Quality related goals are set Annually.

  • Document all physician office interactions and other pertinent information in applicable databases to provide an accurate record of physician encounter history. All field staff must document activity after each visit via web-based CRM system after each physician encounter.

  • Maintaining personal and associated team calendars to ensure efficient visits are conducted to meet Quarterly or Annual company goals.

  • Account Executives are required to work in conjunction with the multiple internal and external team members in designated territory to acts as territory lead to provide support to physician offices, associated team members to increase market share and ensure department goals are met.

  • Required to maintain a minimum membership increase per quarter basis.

  • Works closely with physician offices, other teams, departments, and levels of management as needed for problem resolution and/or process improvements to ensure effective and timely service for existing physicians.

  • Remain in frequent contact with the physician in your responsibility to understand their needs and consult with executive team in negotiations or problem solving

  • Account Executive will be the primary account holder and is responsible to ensure that provider network meets company goals.

  • Have detailed knowledge on each assigned account and develop detailed plan to ensure all issues are resolved with-in a timely manner.

  • Respond in a professional fashion to physician office concerns, executing follow up actions to ensure physician office issues/opportunities are communicated to appropriate departments.

  • Planning and executing special provider programs and company events as needed.

  • Maintain accountability to for adhere to company and divisional organization policies.

  • Plan, organize, and implement effective strategies using all company programs, tools and initiatives to increase market share in designated territory.

  • Account Executive will be responsible to execute all associated task assigned in a timely manner.

  • Account Executives are required to make a minimum of 25+ physician office visits per week. Every physician office with designated territory is to be visited in a rotational fashion. Visits may be subject to planning in advance under the direction of the executive team.

  • Any additional tasks assigned by executive team.


Experience:

Minimum of 2 years proven experience as an Account Executive or global equivalent, or in other sales/customer service role associated with regional provider assignment.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of incentive and value based managed care principles

  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM systems is a plus

  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships

  • Organizational and time-management skills

  • A business acumen

  • Enthusiastic and passionate

Other:

Valid driver's license, Bachelor's degree preferred.
